Coulter Family Fundraiser - EVHS will be holding a fundraiser for the Coulter Family during the girls and boys soccer games today.  Brad, his wife, Paula, and their two daughters, Brandi and Brianna, were on the I-35W bridge when it collapsed.  The Coulter family is no stranger to the Eastview and Apple Valley community, as both girls have played soccer for Dakota Rev and Valley United.  Brandi, a senior at Burnsville High School, is one of the co-captains for the Burnsville Blaze soccer team.  Brianna, a 2007 BHS graduate, received a Division II scholarship to play soccer this Fall at Winona State.  Unfortunately, her plans have changed.  Brad, Brandi and Brianna have been released from the hospital.  All three are wearing back braces and attend regular physical therapy sessions.  Paula is still in critical condition at HCMC and is slowly being brought out of a drug-induced coma, but the process will take some time.  We are hoping to assist the family with ongoing medical costs and other out-of-pocket expenses that are not covered by insurance.  Please show your support for a fellow Lake Conference family going through an incredibly difficult time.  So, come cheer on Eastview as they take on cross-town rival, Apple Valley today!  The girls play at 5:00, followed by the boys at 7:00.  While watching the games, you can enjoy a walking taco or a hot dog.  Proceeds will go directly to the Coulter family.  For updates on the Coulter family, go to www.caringbridge.org (enter paulacoulter to access their web site).

Parents of Eastview High School Seniors are invited to our 2008 Senior Party Planning Meeting on Tuesday, September 11 at 7:00 pm in Room C350. Please plan to attend to learn more about the party and to learn how you can help.
