Looking for a way to make a difference? The Senior Party Committee=
has a need for 3-4 parent volunteers to help the Fundraising Committee with
several initiatives. This is a critical role because it adds much nee=
ded
revenue to our party budget. Rebecca Peterson is leading that committ=
ee
and has lots of ideas for potential fundraisers; she just needs some parent=
s to
assist. We are also in critical need of 8-10 parents to volunteer for=
the
food committee. This group will begin meeting soon so we need to round
out that committee. We also have two committee lead positions open:&n=
bsp;
Invitation Kickoff, which develops the script/skit for the kickoff meeting =
for
the kids in February. We need someone who is creative to help us think
this through. We’ll have lots of committee parents to help with=
the
implementation! We are also still looking for a junior parent to lead=
the
tear down of the senior party. This individual wouldn’t need to=
get
started until May, 2010, but we’d like to have the position filled so=

Dates are filling for the Eastview ACT=
Prep
Courses being offered in preparatio=
n for
the December 12 ACT Test. The course
provides 15+ hours of focused study in preparation for the ACT Test. =
By
design, the course provides trained teachers who will navigate you through =
the
ACT testing process. Classroom time will focus on understanding the
format of the test, building strategies for answering more questions correc=
tly
and pacing yourself during a timed test. We also provide an opportuni=
ty
to take a mock test under actual testing conditions. Students build confide=
nce
and skills that will boost their scores on the actual test.
Students will have access to hundreds of practice questions. The cost=
of
the program is $150 and scholarships are available for students who need
financial assistance (see your counselor). Whether you have taken the=
ACT
test before or you are new to the experience, we will prepare you to do your
personal best.
=

is limited to 20 students per class, so sign up now! Registration for=
