– Register Now! / The next deadline is Friday, October 23. Dates are filling for the Eastview ACT Prep Courses being offered in preparation for the = December 12 ACT Test. The course provides 15+ hours of focused study in preparation for the ACT Test. By design, the course provides trained teachers who will navigate you through the ACT testing process. Class= room time will focus on understanding the format of the test, building strategies for answering more questions correctly and pacing yourself during a timed test. We also provide an opportunity to take a mock test under actual testing conditions. Students build confidence and skills that will boost th= eir scores on the actual test.   Students will have access to hundred= s of practice questions. The cost of the program is $150 and scholarships = are available for students who need financial assistance (see your counselor). Whether you have taken the ACT test before or you are new= to the experience, we will prepare you to do your personal best.=

The Volleyball team took 3^rd place in the Lakeville North tournament this past weekend. Tonight the Lightning t= ake on the tournament champions, Lakeville North, at their home gym. Game time is 7:00! = Since the fans have kicked some serious tail this season, the Volleyball team is providing a Fan Bus to our last conference match against Chaska.&nbs= p; Sign ups will be available at lunch, during volleyball classes, or with Ms. Beckmann in the Main Office. Cost is $5, the match is next Tuesday, a= nd the bus will leave at 6:00 pm.

This is a presentation about Ra= chel Scott who was the first victim in the Columbine High School shooting= s. She kept a journal about her life and this presentation is about her kindne= ss and compassion. The presentation has touched thousands of lives and is a wonderful, powerful and educational tool for all of us to use. Monday, October 26 we’ll be back at the Placeway’s.
