A very high volume of Senior Pictures and Grad Ads have been turned in. We are keeping track as we process hundreds of orders. The deadline date was yesterday and we will create a list of names to post on our web page verifying that photos have been submitted, orders placed for yearbooks and Grad Ads. We will contact anyone who is missing a Senior Portrait, or has a problem with their order. Please DO NOT contact photo studios or Eastview’s Main Office at this time. The Verification List is being prepared now and will soon be available for you to check. A notification that the list has been posted will be announced as soon as we can possibly provide the information. Thanks for your patience.

SPORT SCORES

Congratulations to the Boy’s Cross Country team for their 5th place finish at the Class AA Minnesota State High School Meet on Saturday.  The finish is the highest in the short history of Eastview high school and much higher than the projected 9th place finish from the coach’s association poll.  The Lightning was led by Senior Captain Travis Burkstrand whose 19th place finish earned him All-State honors for the second year in a row.  Travis was followed by Senior Captain Marty Maloney; Senior Captain Jeff Debele; Sophomore Paul Thompson; And Senior Brian Griepp.  The key to the finish was Senior Captain Matt Brennan who broke the tie against two time defending state champions Willmar to give the squad their 5th place finish.  Rounding out the team was Senior Captain Andy Kump.  Congratulations also extend to our alternates who were instrumental in preparing our team for a successful race; they are Junior John Cayton, Junior Ian Sharp, and Sophomore Michael Griepp.

In Anne Ferguson's 2nnd trip to the State Girls Cross Country meet the 9th grader earned All State Honors, finishing 19th out of a field of 155 runners. Her final time of 15:09 was a 4 second improvement over her last year’s state race.
