Eastview will provide a Summer School program from June 16–July 10 (17 days) for Eastview High School students wishing to earn credit towards graduation.  Class will not be held on Thursday July 3 or Friday July 4 in observation of the Independence Day holiday.  Courses offered will include English, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Wellness for grades 9–12.  The students can also prepare for Basic Standards Testing through their summer school courses.  These courses will be for make-up credit only.  The courses will run Monday through Friday with each day organized into three periods:  Period 1 from 7:30–9:15, Period 2 from 9:20–11:05 and Period 3 from 11:10–12:55.  Each period is worth the equivalent of one quarter.  A student, therefore, could make up as much as 2.25 credits or three quarter length courses if he/she signs up for all three periods.  Registration forms are available in the Guidance Office.  Any questions in regard to the summer school program should be directed to program director Thomas Sharp at thomas.sharp@district196.org

Senior Poster turn in.  Parents, you have three choices:

1)  1. (Preferred).  Drive up to the east side (lower) of the school between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on Wednesday June 11.  We will collect your posters then.

2)  2. Contact Sheryl Hjellming 651-894-5766, or sherylhj@gmail.com  or Robin Ruegg 651-681-9233 or robinruegg@comcast.net  You can drop your poster   off at either of our houses.  We both live in Eagan.

3)  3. We will be putting up posters at the school starting at 6:00 pm on Thursday June 12.  You can drop your poster off Thursday night between 6:00-8:00 pm and we will put it up, though it will likely not be in alphabetical order.

Your student will bring your poster home from the senior party.  Because you have your name and phone number on the back of it, if your student forgets, someone will call you to pick it up.
