Juniors and Seniors – Tomorrow our Eastview SADD program will host a Mock Crash in the bus corral from 8:10–9:30.  The purpose of this event is the help define the importance of making safe decisions in the upcoming prom and graduation season.  Juniors and seniors will be dismissed from class at 8:10 to attend this event.

SADD members should check in with Mrs. Hoffman this morning to sign cards and hopefully pick up shirts.  All members should plan on attending the rehearsal tonight at 6:00 pm.  It should only last about a half hour.

If you are interested in being a member of Student Council next year pick up an application outside C336 and turn it in by this Friday. All existing members do need to re-apply. See Mr. Kelly or Ms. Mathews with questions.

Pahl’s Market Speech Fundraiser is finally here! Please shop at Pahl’s for your garden needs and while checking out, please mention the EVHS Speech Team.  Pahl’s will donate 10% of your total purchase to us.   This opportunity continues from May 12 through June 1st and Pahl’s will donate each time you shop.  Thank you so much for your help with this very important fundraising effort.  The Speech Team has members traveling to National Competition in June and we need this support to have Eastview High School competitors represented.

Prom Tickets will be sold thru Friday this week during 5th hour in the Commons.  Friday is the last day to purchase a ticket.

The Robotics team will NOT meet today.  Our end-of-season party will be next Wednesday, May 21, at 2:45 in the C1 Cluster, where we will announce who lettered for this year, as well as who will be captains for next year!

The last School Dance of the year is this Friday night…8-11 pm in the Student Commons for all students; seniors get to stay an extra hour from 11pm-midnight!  The cost is $7 per person or $6 w/ a donation for the food shelf.  All seniors pay just $5 (you must have your student ID for the discounted rate).  It’s a COSTUME PARTY, so get dressed up and join us for the last dance at EVHS for the 0708 school year!

Theatre students interested in attending this year’s theatre banquet should sign up in the Main Office by Monday, May 19.  A minimum of 30 students is necessary to hold the event.  Forms are available on Scott Durocher’s web page and were emailed to most students already.  The cost of the event is $20.
