made the call yet, make it now! The Class of 2009 needs you.
Filling the position before the end of this school year is important. The
party is helped by a well documented history and an eager group of 2009 parents
who have already signed up to help. There is also a warehouse full of
decorations and supplies to support next year’s theme. Help continue the

Senior Party Tickets- Last chance to get them at a reduced rate. Tickets will be on sale in the gym hall
after the graduation rehearsal. The price will still be $75.00

Senior Men!!! If you are attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities the
Fall of 2008, you are encouraged to apply for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity
scholarship. Students do not have to join the fraternity. Applications
are available in the Guidance Office and the deadline is June 13.

Join the EVHS Girls’
Cross Country team next year. Meet a great group of kids, have fun and get
in great shape. There will be an informational meeting at Eastview tomorrow in Room C350 at
Opening Lifting & Super Group registration is open for any athletes & students who want to maintain or build up their strength through the summer months. Fliers will be mailed home & registration is also available online.
Attention all Girl Soccer players: Please turn in your Varsity Camp Summer
Registrations ASAP. Forms can be obtained from the Captains or Coach
Dye. Registrations can be mailed in, dropped off in the Main Office or
handed in to Coach Dye.

Track and Field athletes need to

SCORES
The Boys Track and Field team brought home
some all state athletes from the state track meet this last weekend. All
state honors went to Franky Veldman
5th in the High jump. Travis Burkstrand
placed 7th in the 800 with a school record breaking time. Ryan
McCormick in the 110 hurdles and the 4x400 relay team placed 7th
made up of (Ryan McCormick, Andre Hunt, Travis Burkstrand,
Will Jackson).
Undefeated...The Lightning Girl's Track and Field athletes finished their season by winning a State Title at
this weekend,s MSHSL State
Track and Field Championship. On Friday, every athlete competing qualified for
finals, giving the team a great shot at the title. All athletes competing
earned All-State honors. Top performances were by Lexi
Brown who was the individual champion in the 400 meters and who was on the 2nd
place 4 x 200 meter relay team. Kim Lieder was 2nd in the 100 meter
hurdles, 2nd in the 4 x 200 and 6th in the 300M Hurdles.
Sarah Ake placed 2nd in the 4 x 200, 6th
in the 4 x 100 and 8th in the 300 hurdles. The
final member of the 4 x 200 was Claire Elliott, who was also on the 6th
place 4 x 400 relay. The 4 x 800 relay, run by Anne Ferguson, Kayla Willer, Christine Fries and McKenzie Melander
was 3rd =. Alex Beckman was 4th in the 100 and
on the 6th place 4 x 100 relay. Kjirsten
Jacobson was 5th in the long jump. Amanda Beckman was 6th
in the long jump, 8th in the 100 and and
ran on the 4 x 100 relay. Anne Ferguson was 7th in the 800 and
ran on the 4 x 400 relay. Mallory Burnham ran on the 4 x 100 relay and Taryn Dwyer ran on the 4 x 400. This ended a season
