four page letter containing important information about the 2008 Senior Graduation

Parent Volunteers, Memory Wall (Due December 1), 2008 Senior Party Ticket

Last fall all Eastview High School 9th grade English students
worked with a writer in residence. Published author, Laurie Lindeen, spent five days in each 9th grade
English classroom and shared her writing expertise. Her residency was
organized through COMPAS, whose
mission is to strengthen people and communities in Minnesota by engaging them
in creating art. The COMPAS Writers and
Artists in the Schools program works each year in over one hundred schools
throughout the state of Minnesota. COMPAS also publishes an annual
anthology which features the best student writing from the year’s residencies.
Eastview High School is pleased to announce that five of its students have been
chosen to have work published in this year’s anthology Eyes Full of
Sky. These Eastview students are Sally Fifield, Liz Massie, Garrett
Olson, Marty Reichert, and Teagan Riehle. All of these students have been
invited to attend the annual COMPAS Publication Celebration, which will be held
at St. Paul’s Landmark Center on Saturday, December 8 at 1:00 pm.
