Student Absence
Call-in Information:
For a Full Day Absence, please use the attendance line in the
voicemail system.

* If you call in for your student by 1:00 pm you will
not need to send a note the following day.
For all other attendance issues (late arrival,

Parents - Please mark
your calendars now for PAK's annual Staff
Appreciation Day on Wednesday, May 14. Volunteers will provide
trays with parent donated breakfast foods as a way of expressing our thanks to
all the EV staff. Watch for information on how you can volunteer, donate
goodies or make a monetary contribution for this special day.

Junior Parents: Mark your calendars… The 2008
senior parents invite you to join us on May
5 at 7:00 pm at
Senior Parents In
order for us to ensure a successful 2008 Senior Party – We need more volunteers. Set up volunteer shifts available - Thursday, June 12 - 3:00 pm-7:00 pm (Heavy Lifting) and/or 5:00 pm- 10:00 pm (General Decorating). Friday, June 13 - 9:00 am - 12:00pm (General Decorating)
and 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm (General Decorating). To volunteer for set up,
please send an e-mail message to Mary Kulseth at StevenjKulseth@msn.com.
Volunteers are also still needed for various positions during the party, please send a message to Deb Goblirsch at dgoblirsch@charter.net.
Senior Parents – Tickets for the Senior Party - The Magic of '08 - will
be on sale in the Commons during lunch on Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May
2. Ticket price is $75.00. Special arrangements can be made if it
is necessary for your graduate to leave the party early. This
must be take care of prior to the night of
the party. Written permission is required, and must be signed
by parent. Please send with your ticket order or turn it in to Rob
Franchino in the Main Office. Graduates do not need

The Boys Track and Field
team Battled through a bad case of the bouncing baton to place 6th
at the Pony Invite on Saturday. First place relays were distance Medley
of (Burkstrand, Maloney, Mittelsteadt,
Debele) and 300 hurdle relay of (Smith,
McCormick, Hanson) Second Place was Matt Karnick
Pole Vault, Long Jump relay of (Pearcill, Vossen, Wells) 4x800 relay of (Mittelsteadt,
Burkstrand, Maloney, Fusco) Closing out with 3rd
was the triple jump relay of (Pearcill, vossen, Wells) and the 4x100 shuttle relay of(Smith,
McCormick, Weinberg, Hanson) Tim Jurney placed
3rd in the open 1600.

AUDITIONS: Auditions for the EVHS Fall Play for 2008 “The Kentucky Cycle” by Robert Schenkkan will be held April 28th from 3:00-6:00
pm. Students must sign up for a 10 minute audition time and pick up
audition materials in the Main Office.
Callbacks will be held Wednesday, April 30 from 3:00-8:00 pm. First read
through is on Tuesday, May 20. Rehearsal begins late August/ early
September. Performance dates are October 9, 10, and 11. If any

Congratulations to the EV Speech
team who made school history at the State Tournament when 4 students were
crowned State Champion. Our previous school record is 3 champs.
