EVHS has embraced parental involvement since the very first community meetings to introduce our building. Shortly after the building opened, a meeting of volunteers and EVHS staff was held to help define a newly formed parent organization. During this meeting Bruce Miller, Assistant Principal, emphatic about the role of parents, declared: "Certainly, parents are key." and the newly formed group was named: Parents Are Key.

As a group of volunteer parents the goal of PAK is to foster a community spirit that results in positive life choices by EVHS students. PAK achieves this goal by:

1. Educating the EVHS community in the area of safe, age-appropriate social activities.
2. Helping to plan parent education and support opportunities.
3. Promoting volunteer opportunities at EVHS and in our community.

   PAK is continually exploring new opportunities to achieve their goals. Please join us at the next meeting or feel free to contact one of the co-chairs with your ideas.
