2009-2010 Academic Year

Teaching Assignments:

This will be my seventh year at Eastview High School and my ninth year as an English teacher. My courses this year are focused on reading instruction. Academic Literacy 9 is a course designed to offer intensive reading instruction for incoming ninth graders. I will also teach English/Speech 10 on a collaborative team with U.S. History teacher, Mr. John Kelly.

Activities & Committees

My special interests include assisting with the Dance Department productions and being a die-hard fan of the Eastview Lightning Dance Team. Also, this will be my 5th year co-advising the Eastview Book Club--a great way to find time to read for enjoyment! Lastly, I am a member of the Eastview High School Literacy Committee, the Teachers of Secondary Striving Readers and District Literacy Committees.
