Congratulations to Eastview senior Elle Schultz for being named the Region 3AA female nominee for the state AAA Award in 2008-09.  Of the 16 member school of this administrative region Elle was the top female candidate!  This places her at the top of senior females from all 16 schools (approximately 4,000 female students!!)  Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award (Triple "A" Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the fine arts.  To be eligible for the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award at Eastview High School a student must be a high school senior, have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher, participate in both League-sponsored athletics and fine arts activities and comply with the MSHSL's Student Code of Conduct and be nominated by a staff member.  Triple "A" Award recipients are selected by a multi-level process involving the League's member schools and administrative regions. Elle is now one of 8 finalists statewide for the four-year $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to the top male and female in the state.  Elle will be recognized at two different recognition ceremonies coming up in the next month or so.  Congrats to Elle and Derek Funk who was also nominated!
