From the very first day of
varsity practice picture taking has been a very important part
of the Varsity Fastpitch program. One day of
practice, "Media Day", consists of taking dozens of pictures.
Individual, groups by positions, captains, and classes take up much
of the picture taking
day. But, the
pictures the players enjoy most are the ones they take with their friends.
Most of the pictures will be used in the end of the year booklet, placed
in the video, or scanned for
use on the Lightning Fastpitch web site. Pictures are also taken at
the retreat, on the spring trip, and during the season. The hope is
that they will capture
some of the special
memories of the season .... Now and Forever
