Follow @evhsprom for timely information

REGISTRATION ENDS - Thursday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS

DIRECTIONS TO REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE STARTING MAY 5. (ONLINE ONLY OPTION) - Every individual, couple or group attending prom needs to designate a “Table Captain” whose responsibility will be to complete the Prom Planning Form. The Planning Form can also be picked up in the Main Office. Once complete, the Table Captain can bring the completed form to the Commons during lunch on Thurs. 5/5, Tues.; 5/10, Thurs.; 5/12, Tues.; 5/17 or Thurs.; 5/19 to obtain a registration code for your group (the code is used to keep your group together based on seating availabilty). Registration Codes can also be picked up in the Main Office starting Friday 5/6. This code should be shared with members of your group so each person can go online to pay and register for prom. Online payment and registration in SCHOOL VIEW will be the only method of payment (Debit Card, Credit Card or Check only).

If you are purchasing TWO TICKETS then you need to add both your ticket and a guest ticket to your cart in Fee Pay. All non EVHS students need to have their EVHS host-student log into Fee Pay and purchase thier ticket.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE INFORMATION - Online payment and registration must be made prior to Thursday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. Priority Seating is first come first served based on when your entire group registers and pays.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL - Check in begins at 6:30 pm at IMS. In an effort to promote a safe and positive prom evening, all prom attendees are to attend prom until 11:30 pm.  Our prom provides our students the opportunity to experience an elegant evening with a live band, formal attire and be served a multi-course meal. It is important to us that our students experience this unique event to its fullest extent. In addition to this promoting a safer evening, it also eliminates the challenges we face during prom when some students who arrived in a large group on a bus want to stay at their prom and others want to leave to "drive around" in an unsupervised situation.

We are aware that this is an exciting time of year for you and your son/daughter. All the preparations are being made for what we hope will be our finest Prom ever. We have taken great care to provide a full and exciting evening in a well-chaperoned and managed location. We ask for your help in communicating with your son/daughter about the importance of enjoying a safe, chemical-free evening. As your son/daughter plans Prom activities, please be involved in the decisions that are made, ensuring adult supervision and support.

EVHS does not endorse, nor is it a “common practice,” for students to party in hotel rooms after Prom. In fact, most hotels in the Twin Cities refuse rooms to high school students and have sent them home if they are found to be occupying rooms without an accompanying parent. Many parents host small post-Prom gatherings in their home with supportive supervision. This has been quite successful in the past and provides students with safe alternatives. Our Parent Are Key (PAK) Committee providies information about hosting well supervised parties (see link above).

Thank you for helping us to provide an exciting, enjoyable evening at Prom.
