Eastview Debate Homepage
Welcome to the Eastview High School Debate Team Webpage. Since its inception in 1997, The EVHS Debate Team has won 5 MSHSL State Championships and numerous other state and national awards. The Eastview NFL Chapter (combined debate and speech) is consistently ranked as one of the top 15 programs in the nation. Most importantly, hundreds of students have had one of their most valuable high school experiences as a member of the debate team.
Each fall, new members are welcome to join the debate team. We do not have a try-outs or auditions, so all new team members are able to join. To find out more, please click on How to Join above.
Eastview's head debate coach is Todd Hering who has been a teacher and coach at the school since it opened in 1997. To contact Coach Hering about debate, you may e-mail him at Todd.Hering@District196.org.
