Bob Dettmer
This fall marks my 16th year of teaching, and my 11th at Eastview High School. I graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in Christian Education, from Northern Illinois University with a BA in English, and from Aurora University with a Masters in Education and Administration. I have been married to my wife Kristin for 19 years, and our 4 children will be 6th graders at Falcon Ridge Middle School. Our family owns two cats (Sparta & Mooka), and we just purchased a boxer puppy whom we named Tubby. Besides teaching freshmen, junior, and senior English, I also coach the Chess Team. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, serving in my local church, and spending time with my family. Teaching is my passion, and I very much enjoy building relationships with students. |
