About Early Childhood Family Education | ECFE
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program for parents and their children during the years from birth through prekindergarten. Our mission is to provide quality learning opportunities and resources for all young families in our district. ECFE is a fun, informal place to meet, learn and play with other parents and young children. We offer a wide variety of classes, one-time events, a family literacy program and several special opportunities.
ECFE offers classes Monday through Friday during the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Classes meet weekly in the same location with the same staff. A quarterly ECFE print and online catalog lists all class offerings. Although a fee is charged for most quarterly classes, it is our policy that no district family is turned away due to inability to pay.
There are many ways to enjoy ECFE! Family playtimes and special events will be advertised in the quarterly ECFE catalog, in our online catalog, and on our website and Facebook page.
Congratulations on the arrival of your baby! Infancy is a very important time in the life of your child as well as a wonderful and challenging time for parents. Please take a moment and update our records with your baby’s name and birth date on our New Baby Census Form.
