About Me
My name is Sandy Moline.  I am an Early Childhood Educator teaching Early Childhood Family Education classes at Rahncliff Learning Center in the Red Room.  I also co-teach two Bridge to School classes at Thomas Lake Elementary.  This is my 21st year teaching for District 196. 

My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Winona State University.  In 2000, I earned my Masters Degree in Education from St. Mary’s University. 

My husband and I have lived in the Twin Cities area since 1983.  We are the parents of two boys.  Both boys attended schools in District 196.  Our oldest son graduated from college Spring 2008 with a Business Finance degree.  Our youngest son is in college and is studying accounting. 

Philosophy
I strongly believe in the District 196 Mission Statement: “Educating our students to reach their full potential.”  In order to help children accomplish this goal I feel it is my job to make them feel welcome when they enter my classroom and to help children become comfortable with our routine.  To help prepare children for kindergarten I also work to promote the social skills of being independent and making friends.  For many of our families, my classroom is their first school experience - I want to make the classroom one they look forward to coming to each week.
