MUSIC FOR BABY AND YOU

Music is a unique medium that can soothe, stimulate and excite the mind and body. Even before birth, babies can distinguish between singing and talking, and can experience singing and musical sound as calming.
Musical Exploration with Infants:
- Provides opportunities for bonding and attachment
- Provides physical calming
- Encourages gross motor development
- Promotes language development and imitation of sounds
- Promotes musical development
- Promotes sensory exploration
- Promotes cognitive development
- Exposes infant to contrasts in sounds, sight and textures.
