Bridge to School

Who can attend?
Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the year they are enrolled, and live in School District 196. Priority is given to children who are referred by screening, are learning English, need financial assistance or have other personal or family needs.

Where are classes held?
Classes are held at various locations throughout the district in designated Early Childhood classrooms. Transportation is provided on a very limited basis.

When are classes held?
Classes are scheduled mornings or afternoons, two or three days a week, for two and a half hours. Times vary by location. Children will be assigned a class based on availability. Classes run from September through June.

What is the tuition for the 2009-2010 school year?
Full tuition: Two-day program is $100 per month
        Three-day program is $140 per month

How can I register my child for the 2009-2010 school year?
Complete both sides of the 09-10 Registration form (pdf-378k) and mail it to the address indicated, or fax both sides to the fax number listed on the form.
