Booster Club
Deerwood Elementary has a Booster club which meets five times a year (September, November, January, March and May). All parents, legal guardians and staff of Deerwood Elementary are considered members of the Deerwood Booster Club.

Volunteer Leaders
The Booster Club has three committees that are always looking for additional volunteers. Please Join us and consider volunteering in any or all of the following areas.
Fundraising Committee
Members of this committee are responsible for organizing and coordinating all fundraising programs such as:
- Innisbrook
- Gold C
- Food Perspectives
- Plant Sales
- Box Tops for Education

Social Events Committee
Members of this committee help create, plan and implement Deerwood social events. Current events are:
- Movie Night on November 7, 2008
- Winter Social on February 27, 2009
- Ice Cream Social on May 15, 2009
Hospitality Committee
Members of this committee work to make Deerwood a welcoming and family friendly community. The Hospitality Committee helps schedule and organize the lunchroom and greeter table volunteers. They organize the maintenance of the Deerwood gardens and flower boxes. They also plan and carry out several staff appreciation buffets throughout the year:
- Fall Conference Buffets on October 13-14, 2008
- Winter Conference Buffets on January 28-29, 2009
- End of Year Staff Appreciation Brunch in May
