Nancy Schueller - Media Specialist

The library/media center at Diamond Path is a busy, exciting place. All students at Diamond Path are welcome all day, every day for browsing, checking out library materials, reading, using computers, and doing research to encourage them to be life-long learners and life-long library users.

Diamond Path students are also scheduled to visit the library with their class during the school year. These lessons are integrated with the curriculum going on in their classroom and planned with the classroom teacher. The skills covered are also part of a library/media curriculum developed by ISD #196 librarians. Your child may also be using the media center in small groups or individually.

My goal at Diamond Path has been to make the media center and its resources more accessible to all students and to prepare them for successful living in this information society. As Justice Sandra Day O'Conner stated, "A library is to the life of a school as the heart is to the life of a human being, the center and source of its most vital function."
