Half-Day Schedule
A typical half-day in Kindergarten might go something like this:

- 9:25-10:00 (*1:10-1:45) - Morning meeting
- 10:00-10:15 (*1:45-2:00) - Read aloud
- 10:15-10:45 (*2:00-2:30) - Literacy block (phonemic awareness, Writer's workshop, guided reading, etcƒ)
- 10:45-11:10 (*2:30-2:55) - Milk/snack/free choice
- 11:10-11:45 (*2:55-3:30) - Math/Science
- 11:45-11:55 (*3:30-3:45) - Getting ready for home
Full-Day Schedule (Kindergarten Plus)
A typical full-day in Kindergarten (aka Kindergarten Plus) might go something like this:
- 9:25-10:00 - Morning meeting
- 10:00-10:15 - Read aloud
- 10:15-10:45 - Literacy block (phonemic awareness, Writer's workshop, guided reading, etcƒ)
- 10:45-11:10 - Free choice
- 11:10-11:35 - Math/Science
- 11:35-11:45 - Bathroom break, wash hands
- 11:45-12:30 - Lunch/recess
- 12:30-1:00 - Specialist time
- 1:00-1:15 - Read aloud
- 1:15-1:45 - Quiet time
- 1:45-2:30 - Literacy extension activities
- 2:30-3:00 - Milk/snack/free choice
- 3:00-3:30 - Math extensions
- 3:30-3:45 - Getting ready for home
