AREAS of FOCUS this TRIMESTER

First Trimester - In the First Trimester, we will focus on the following areas of study:

  • Math: Place Value, Money, Addition and Subtraction, and Number Sense
  • Language Arts: Community Ties, Guided Reading
  • Writing: Writers Workshop Kickoff
  • Science: Magnetism/Electricity
  • Health: Bus Safety, Communities
  • Social Studies: Time for Kids (Current Events), Communities
  • Technology: Type to Learn & Kidspiration
  • Wordstudy: Grade 3 Must Know Words

Specialists: in 3rd grade, we are on a four-day cycle in which the specialist classes rotate amongst the following classes:
