STUDENT BILL OF RIGHTS
The Diamond Path School Bill of Rights was written to give a guide to the students, staff and parents as to what is appropriate or acceptable behavior at Diamond Path. The Bill of Rights reflects the philosophy of the staff at Diamond Path in terms of what makes a healthy environment for learning.
Diamond Path Elementary Student Bill of Rights
- WE, THE STUDENTS AND ADULTS AT DIAMOND PATH SCHOOL, HAVE A RIGHT TO BE SAFE. This means everyone has the responsibility to walk and keep hands and feet to oneself in order to create a safe atmosphere.
- WE, THE STUDENTS AND ADULTS AT DIAMOND pATH SCHOOL, HAVE A RIGHT TO LEARN. This means that everyone has the responsibility to work quietly and independently without interrupting or distrubing others.
- WE, THE STUDENTS AND ADULTS AT DIAMOND PATH SCHOOL, HAVE A RIGHT TO BE RESPECTED. This means that everyone has the responsbility to be respectful and cooperative to others.
- WE, THE STUDENTS AND ADULTS AT DIAMOND PATH SCHOOL, HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE ALL PROPERTY RESPECTED. This means that everyone has the responsibility to protect all property from damage.
