Booster Club and Site Council

Booster Club
The Booster Club is composed of parents and staff who raise money for the enhancement of student programs. Bill Dahl is 2007-08 President; Sharon Dahl is Treasurer; and Secretary is to be announced. The Booster Club works with the Cedar Park Site Council to coordinate efforts and priortize needs.

Site Council
The Cedar Park Site Council is made up of parent volunteers, the principal and CP staff members. The 2007-08 officers are: Todd Lafrenz - President, Anne Barnes - Vice President, Cindi Priest - Secretary, Angie LaFrenz - Staff Support, and Jason Priest - Education Committee.

There are 3 committees associated with the Site Council. They are:

Education Committee - Chair: Jason Priest. This committee's responsibilities include magnet planning, curriculum, and scholarships.

Staff Support - Chair: Angie LaFrenz. This committee's responsibilities include organizing volunteers for fall and spring picture days, Fall Open House, Kindergarten Special Person's Day, classroom parties, daycare for Site Council and Booster Club meetings, and coordinating nominations and elections of Site Council and Booster Club officers. Anne Albers is the staff liason to the volunteers.

The Booster Club meets at 6:30 PM and the Site Council at 7:00 PM, usually the first Tuesday of each month. Please check the school calendar for exact time and date. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
