Peer Mediation

Cedar Park has a peer mediator program which has been running successfully for many years. This is another program which creates a positive school climate by helping students find a solution to their problems in a non-threatening environment.

Mediation is cooperatively working out your conflict with the help of trained mediators. We currently have eleven trained fifth-graders working as our mediators. They empower the students involved in a conflict to find their own solutions to their problems as well as prevent many disputes from escalating.
