Cancellation Policy

• You will receive a full refund if your class/tour is canceled due to low enrollment or if it is filled before we receive your registration.
• Customer-initiated refunds can only be issued if requested five working days prior to the start of class.
• Customer-initiated refunds requested less than five working days prior to the start of class will receive account credit, only.
• There is a $10 processing fee for all customer-initiated refunds. In addition, you will be charged for any costs incurred (supplies, food).
• For cooking classes, refunds are not issued within seven working days prior to the first day of class.
• For tours, you will be charged for pre-paid tickets and other direct costs unless a substitute can be found.
• Refunds are not issued the day the class starts, after a class has begun, nor are they possible when classes are rescheduled due to weather.
• We reserve the right to reschedule classes that are canceled for issues out of our control, such as severe weather.

Inclement Weather

• If District 196 schools are closed for the day, all daytime and after-school Community Education activities are canceled.
• A decision about Community Education evening activities will be made by mid-afternoon.
