Aquatics is . . . for everyone

Family SwimmingCommunity Education offers swimming activities for all ages, interests and abilities.

Safety is our first priority and lifeguards are on duty for all Community Education aquatic activities.

Our online catalog features course information, including class descriptions, locations, schedules and fees. Register online or call 952-431-8777 to register by phone.


Although learning to swim is not a guarantee of safety around the water statisitcs show that learning to swim reduces the risk of drowning by 87%.

Key Log Rolling: A Traditional North Woods Pastime

Log Rolling Calling all LumberJacks and LumberJills, ages 7 through adult! Come experience the fun and challenge your skills!

Log rolling improves core strength, balance, footwork, agility, and cardio...but mostly it’s just fun! With the help of the yellow resistance fins (like training wheels) no prior skill or experience is necessary. Wear swimwear, rash guards or spandex style athletic wear. Participants must be comfortable being in the water.

Swim Lessons for All Ages and Abilities
Community Swim Lessons are offered for children ages six months and older, teens and adults. Lessons are also available in formats for youth with special needs and in a women-only format.

Sports Skill Development
Community Education offers competitive swimming and diving opportunities.

Adult Fitness
Community Education can help you reach your fitness goals. Whether seeking to maintain or improve your general health and fitness, recuperating from an injury or illness, or training to be at the peak of your ability, Community Education has a program for you to enjoy.

American Red Cross Training For Safety
American Red Cross programs offer training in First Aid, CPR and AED for both Lay Responders and Professional Responders as well as training for Lifeguards, Water Safety Instructors and Water Safety Aides.

Public Use of the Pools
Open Swims provide an opportunity to gather with friends and family for fun at the pool!
