Enrichment Class Instructor
Do you have a special skill, hobby or interest to share? Community Education is always on the lookout for new instructors willing to share their expertise with the community. Enrichment class instructors are needed to teach classes for children, youth, adults or families. You can propose a class or you can call us at 651-423-7920 to discuss ideas.

Building Supervisor
Building supervisors are responsible for public relations and building security of district schools during Community Education activities. These part-time positions offer flexible evening and weekend hours and a casual work environment. Call 952-431-8781 for more information. Click here for the application form.

Aquatics Employee
The Community Education Aquatics Program employs nearly 200 youth, young adults and adults as locker room attendants, Water Safety Assistants, instructors and lifeguards. Positions are available for persons ages 14 and older. The program offers in-house training; call 651-683-6879 for assistance.

Project Explore Instructor
River Valley Project Explore, Community Education program for adults with disabilities, seeks instructors to teach classes in arts and crafts, cooking, games, hobbies, sports, music, and general education. Call 952-431-8735 (voice) or 952-431-8737 (TTY) to "explore" the possibilities. Click here for the application form.

Substitute Teacher
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) needs substitute teachers (parent educators and early childhood) and teaching assistants. The program offers classes for parents and their preschool-aged children. Both daytime and evening classes are offered; the highest need is for substitutes for daytime classes.
