Enrichment class instructors are needed to teach classes for children, youth, adults or families. Propose a class using the course proposal form below and download the Enrichment Instructor Handbook to answer many of the questions you may have regarding teaching a class. Building supervisors are responsible for public relations and building security of district schools during Community Education activities. The Community Education Aquatics Program employs nearly 200 youth, young adults and adults as locker room attendants, Water Safety Assistants, instructors and lifeguards. River Valley Project Explore, Community Education program for adults with disabilities, seeks instructors to teach classes in arts and crafts, cooking, games, hobbies, sports, music, and general education. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) needs substitute teachers (parent educators and early childhood) and teaching assistants. The program offers classes for parents and their preschool-aged children. Both daytime and evening classes are offered; the highest need is for substitutes for daytime classes.
