Meeting Minutes
Application Form
The Community Education Districtwide Advisory Council advises and assists the department in fulfilling the Community Education mission. Members provide overall guidance to Community Education programs and services.
Minnesota Statute 121.88 (1971) requires that each school
district operating an approved Community Education program
must have a representative citizen's advisory council that
broadly reflects the composition of the community it serves.
Members complete an application, are recommended by the council
and are approved of by the Board of Education.
In addition to attending regular council meetings, members participate in committees that address specific areas, such as programming and marketing. Among their many responsibilities is to serve as the "ambassadors" of Community Education.
Contact the Office of the Director at 651-423-7722 for more information.
