The Eagan Wildcats will take on the Farmington Tigers later this fall in the first-ever high school matchup at TCO Stadium in the new Minnesota Vikings headquarters.

The Twin Cities Orthopedic Performance Center opened in Eagan in June, and on Tuesday, July 31, the Vikings announce the organization has partnered with the Minnesota State High School League to host five football games in 2018.

The first is a regular-season game on Friday, Sept. 28 between Eagan, who will be the home team, and Farmington. In a press release, Minnesota Vikings Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren said this partnership with MSHSL fulfills the organization’s commitment to its new community.

“The opportunity to share our new facility with the community and with the high school sports teams was always an emphasis of the design of TCO Performance Center from the beginning,” Warren said. “The chance to connect with fans, parents and players at the high school level is an important part of our ongoing youth football events, and we will proudly share our field with Minnesota high school teams.”

Other TCO Stadium games include:

  • Friday, Oct 12: Lakeville North versus Prior Lake
  • Nov. 9 and 10: Three state quarterfinal matchups
