The District 196 Foundation Board of Directors is looking for motivated applicants to join them in carrying out the organization’s mission to enhance educational opportunities and experiences for students attending District 196 schools.

This year, the foundation’s goal is to raise money for additional students to participate in The Sheridan Story weekend food program and for books to provide to children who are at the greatest risk of losing literacy skills during the summer. The foundation board meets six times per year, every other month, starting at 6 p.m. at the District Office in Rosemount. To apply, click here. For more information, contact Community Education Director Khia Brown at 651-423-7720.
