Area Learning Center Enrollment

Schedule:
* 10 three week terms, September 8, 2009 - June 11, 2010
* Flex classes during the summer and between terms
* Busing is provided within district boundaries.

Applications:
* Applications may be picked up in the ALC office Monday through Friday during office hours.
* Drop off completed applications in the office, please do not fax them to the ALC.
* A complete application includes a transcript, a copy of a birth certificate, immunization records, Basic Standards Testing information, and a current IEP (if applicable).

ALC Special Education Program:
* The ALC Special Education Program provides a continuum of services for students with identified and documented disabilities, which significantly interfere with the learning experience.
* Special Education services are offered to those students who have gone through the district “Child Study” (or IEP) process, and who meet the state criteria for eligibility.
* Services designed to address the disability include the identification and implementation of appropriate accommodations or modifications, academic support and guidance as needed, as well as coordination of communication between the student, teachers and parent/guardians.
* Students who have an active IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) from their previous school must include a copy of the IEP and most recent Evaluation Report with their ALC Application. Copies may also be mailed or faxed to the ALC at Fax # 952-431-8722,(c/o ALC Special Education)
