Mission Statement
Our purpose is to create and foster a learning environment that encourages gifted, talented and high ability learners to achieve their maximum potential.

Our services include:
• Daily GT classes for grades 3, 4, and 5 during units time
• Language Arts Enrichment for grades K-2
• Math Enrichment for grades K-2

Our daily service model is designed to provide additional challenges for students identified as gifted and talented according to district criteria within content areas, specifically, math, social studies, science and health.

We believe Gifted and Talented Student
~ Have significantly different educational and/or affective needs from their chronological peers and should be provided an environment that supports those needs.
~ Require educational differentiation as a regular part of their school day
~ Have needs that should be met through shared responsibility within the educational community

Goals for GT classes include:
~ smaller group settings for students to interact with others of similar abilities
~ Supporting students in expanding special interests
~ Supporting students affective needs
~ Provide students with a level of rigorous instruction in addition to what is offered in the regular classroom
