| Science at Cedar Park is hands on inquiry based learning. Each grade level studies a different topic during each trimester. Winter Trimester:
Kindergarten students are exploring paper and its many functions. They will also be making paper.
First grade students are learning about solids and liquids. They will be doing experiments to discover how solids and liquids are alike and different.
Second grade students have begun to examine balance and motion. They will have opportunities to design and build using simple objects and then observe how what they built can balance and rotate. |
