Gifted and Talented Advisory Council

StudentThe purpose of the Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee is to ensure active community participation in and understanding of the district’s gifted and talented programs and provide input to the Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Council (CIAC) and administration on gifted/talented programming plans that support district and board goals, policies and initiatives.

Members of the Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee are made up of 20 stakeholders including 2 high school students; 4 parents representing elementary, middle and high school GT students; 4 GT/Honors/Advanced Placement teaching staff at the elementary, middle and high school levels; 2 classroom teaching staff at the elementary and middle school levels, 3 building-level administrators at the elementary and secondary levels, 3 district-level support staff and 1 School Board member.

Meetings take place from 6-8 p.m. at the District Office, 14445 Diamond Path West, Rosemount on the dates listed below. For additional information or questions call 651-423-7884 or email Jane Berenz, Director of State and Federal Programs.
