Communications

The Communications Department coordinates a variety of communications with both internal and external district audiences, including news releases and media relations, web site, newsletters, reports and brochures, annual report and requests for information.

The Communications Department oversees operation of District 196 Cable TV on the Charter Communications system, which provides locally generated educational programming year around from its operations office at Apple Valley High School.

The Graphic Arts and Mail Processing Department at the District Office is also part of District Communications. Graphic Arts provides desktop publishing services, graphic design and full-service printing and photocopying to all district schools and departments. The department also processes and delivers all incoming and outgoing mail for the district.
